Cats want us to be their pets

Cats

Moody, lazy, shiftless, self-absorbed, and bullies...

Day 891 of my captivity...and these stupid humans
still have the gall to expect me to be happy...

Look into my eyes...repeat after me...must bring cat food...
must empty litterbox...must cater to all of cat's needs...

Hey...get me another set of batteries...and make it snappy...
my remote is not working...

Guess where I just left a "little gift" for you...me thinks
you will have to dig in closet for it...

Oh Yeah...I just love this commercial...the dumb
dog is running on the treadmill...what a pathetic loser!

I'll bet that stupid, obnoxious person comes home
and want's me to greet her at the door...that ain't
happening!

...and don't even get me started about these cats...
they certainly aren't as kindly as our sailboat!

So, Please Remember:

Dog's are man's best friends...
Happy, spirited, loveable and easily trained...
the PERFECT COMPANIONS!

Ahhh...my favorite thing in the world...being with a person....

SKATEBOARDS...my favorite thing in the world!
Whoa man...catching Frisbees...my favorite thing in the world!

Giving love to a human...my favorite thing in the world!

Enough Said!!

Heading South For The Winter

We had our typical looong travel to get back to the islands...our first flight left Las Vegas for JFK in New York. After our four hour layover we hopped on our next flight to Puerto Rico...another long layover, then we flew to St. Thomas. We just missed the ferry to Tortola, so another long wait before we boarded an hour-long ferry ride to West End and Tortola. Thankfully, Toddy was there to give us our shortest ride in "Big Red", his 1987 Ford F-150. We arrived in Nanny Cay and to the boat after over 20 hours travelling. But, hey, someone has to take one for the rest of the team!

Just remember the above, if/when you come to visit...it isn't going to be easy to get down here...and return back home.

We figured the best use of our time while waiting for the next plane ride to the
islands would be filling out our Christmas cards.
Toddy is a sailing instructor here in the islands...so over Christmas, he was out on a charter teaching sailing. Sue wasn't going to be staying by herself...she had us to spend the holiday with. We picked her up in West End, and sailed across to Jost Van Dyke. No mooring balls for us...we dropped anchor just east of the rest of the charter boats and had the nicest time...smooth, comfortable nights...breezy days and lots of cocktails to celebrate having Toddy's credit card.

Santa's island help

Karen and Sue, ready to spread some holiday cheer!

Yeah, it's kind of a weak tree, but it's the islands...
even the tree-decorating is a little laid back!

We decided to hoist a few for all of you back home, and
wish you all the best and most peaceful Christmas ever!

All of that work on shore required the girls to sit back and
relax a little, before they made me dinner

This is what a beautiful sunset in White Bay on the island of
Jost Van Dyke looks like

And the best wishes to all of you for a peaceful and safe 2014!!
